Book/Journal Production

We, at SL Publishing, cater to the demands of a wide gamut of customers. The type of books includes STM books, Social Sciences books, School books, and other Fiction and non-Fiction books.

Our Book Production team uses the supplied text and formats the same in an appropriate style in accordance with the client-specific guidelines, and converts it to a printer-ready file. The core activities for Book production include

XML/HTML Services

At SL, we have a highly skilled team that delivers XML and HTML services and solutions that include

• Delivering XML/HTML files conforming to the customer's DTD and specification
• Development in XML-related technologies such as XSL, XSLT, etc
• Creation of templates/scripts for SGML/XML/HTML to typeset conversion
• Development of Quality Control tools for checking SGML/XML to customer specifications

SL is also planning to invest in establishing an efficient and streamlined eproofing system for its customers. The eproofing system allows authors/publishers to login to a website, and view or download the PDF proof of their article. It also enables the supplier/publisher to track whether the author has accessed the proof or not.

Tagging, Conversion and Parsing

Using our optimized workflow, we can deliver multipleformat output from a single data input file, which allows us to maintain data integrity and reduce the project duration.

We also provide integration services and build Read/Write rules to successfully translate data on import or export, and develop style templates. We have expertise in the following mark up languages:
